A boom barrier is mainly used to restrict unathorized persons/vehicles from entering restricted areas and prevent traffic overflow. The arm of the barrier can be of the bar or pole type, and can be raised up to a height of 3m – 4m. Depending on the customer's requirement, the arming meter of the barrier can be adjusted. The default timing of the barrier is 0.6 sec.
This motor adopts a self-developed DC24V brushless motor, equipped with a stable and reliable worm gear and planetary reduction transmission structure. It has a large torque and is highly wear-resistant. It is paired with a DC variable-frequency control system, allowing for precise control and more flexible running, resulting in less mechanical impact, and an extended service life.
Thanks to the auto-reversing feature on obstruction, the motor is highly sensitive, responsive, safer, and more reliable than before. Moreover, the large LCD screen display control panel has a visual English menu, making it simpler to maintain and operate.
It also has a 433MHZ Remote Controller, making it easier to add extra remote controllers. During power-outages, you can manually turn the handwheel or lift the boom up and down, and you can also power it by a DC24V battery or open it one time with a supercapacitor backup.
Additionally, it also supports motorcade passing, counting, auto-aging test, delay auto-closing, relay signal output, and RS485 communication, with optional features such as loop detector, infrared photocell, and radar. Last but not least, it comes with a two-year warranty for the motor and control board.
