Common Malfunctions and Solutions

Malfunction: Controller displays IDLE

Possible Cause A:

The motor sensor plug is not plugged in.

Solution:

Insert the motor sensor plug securely.

Possible Cause B:

Motor sensor failure.

Solution:

Replace the motor.

Malfunction: Controller resets when barrier gate is running

Possible Cause A:

Short circuit inside the motor.

Solution:

Measure the resistance of each two wires (white, yellow and red) of the motor phase line using a multimeter to check if the resistance numbers are identical.

Possible Cause B:

Barrier gate controller failure.

Solution:

Replace the controller.
